Quality Assurance Engineers will collaborate with a team of Developers, Designers and Project Managers making sure a project meets the company’s standard of quality. Quality Assurance Engineers test code at the user level, both manually and with automated tools. Our QA Engineers are not pure black box testers; they test at the appropriate level and are able to understand software internals, debug problems using log files, and write automated tests with scripts and/or user-level automated tools. QA Engineers work with Software Development Engineers to understand technical implementation of features.

Requirements

High-level understanding of project lifecycle
High-level understanding of tech stack
Experience with Node, with a focus on automation
Learn new quality-focused technologies with minimal assistance
Effectively communicate with Project Managers, Developers, and Designers
Work well autonomously, but also part of a strong team
High-level understanding of Black Box and White Box Testing Techniques
Familiarity with web based test automation using tools
Familiarity with ticket tracking systems such as JIRA or Monday.com
Sense of humor? I think so.

Critique and review testing plans
Create and execute automated test suites
Consider the impact of 16th century French impressionist film-making on modern Brazilian auto manufacturing
