Requirements

• Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS and design
• Strong knowledge of Javascript and how to troubleshoot and investigate issues
• High-level understanding of project lifecycle
• High-level understanding of developing in web-based application stacks
• Strong problem solving skills
• Communicate expectations, assignments and responsibilities clearly and professionally
• Able to learn new front end focused technologies with minimal assistance
• Functional understanding of UI design and time needed for implementation
• Strong leadership skills— to supervise, encourage, and provide direction to their development team
• Effectively communicate and partner with Project Managers, Design, Clients and other Developers
• Team oriented, and able to create an environment where team members can be successful
• Ability to establish collaborative relationships with the project management team
• Able to lead technical client calls, providing support to the project manager for the project

Responsibilities

• Provide regular feedback and goal management for their development team
• Produce well-tested and functional code
• Turn designs into HTML/CSS
• Propose best technical solution for a problem
• Review and give feedback to other developers
• Teach and mentor other developers using your technical and leadership skills
• Scope development efforts
• Adopt, develop, promote and facilitate company and team best practices
• Research and improve technology, skills and processes
• Make decisions in the best interest of meltmedia, our clients and team members
• Critique and review development plans
• Assist with researching assigned projects and strategies for clients as asked
• Foster technical skill and professional growth through coaching and hands-on mentoring
• Ensures the overall smooth operation of their development team with the well being of the team members in mind
• Work with technical leadership and project management to develop, improve and roll out processes for their development team
• Identify areas of improvement with an eye for automation
